Vintage Stitched Little Girl on Towel~sold
This is a vintage red striped Startex towel, 75% cotton and 25% linen, great, heavy nubby fabric. Another talented stitchery artist has created a little girl or young woman, holding a huge bouquet of flowers while chasing butterflies with a net. Her pinafore and bonnet are done in shades of pink cross stitch while the flowers and butterfly are completed in tones of blue and yellow. One of my favorites!!
