This is a gorgeous hand painted bowl from Nippon, Japan. Gold painted accents decorate the handles, rim and inside bottom of the dish. Pink, blue and yellow flowers hang from the edges in bouquets and garlands along with gold cross hatching and gentle curves of scrollwork. The bowl measures approximately 8.5 inches in diameter with the handles adding an extra 1.5 inches each. This is truly an exquisite piece.
